It's not that bad. It definitely lets you know you just shot a .44Mag out of an airweight gun though.

I just have to ask..... what 1911 are you looking for?
Not really any model specifically. I'd love a Dan Wesson or a Springer TRP. I like front strap checkering on my 1911's and I don't like external extractors or anything without a barrel bushing.
I'd also be interested in a Colt Wiley Clapp edition. I would add cash/ammo/accessories to even out the trade.
I've shot a lot of guns but this one by FAR has the highest recoil.
