A lot of people won’t throw an offer out of fear for offending people or just the fact they don’t want to price other peoples stuff.
Why make people “ put a price” of your item for sale?
It’s way more hassle than to just say I want xxx price or best offer.
Walmart- sams- Costco- Walgreens- Aldi- quick trip - etc all put a price on the items for sale.

Brother I wont feel offended for their offer the only thing I would say is have some common sense before you throw an offer because if it's a lowball I would just say no thanks. That's it. The post stated for trade but if you want to make a cash offer go ahead just be conscious.
