Gun is 2 weeks old. I bought it but have 2 others so don’t really need it. Impulse buy. Has Burris 6-24 optic. Zeiss precision hardware. Have several boxes of ammo FOR THE RIGHT TRADE.

This is a large caliber with mildly stiff recoil. Would not recommend getting for your 12 year old son so please consider that.

Out of curiosity, how does the recoil compare to a 300 win mag?

It’s a good bit stiffer, about 10-15 more grains of powder charge pushing 212 grain and heavier projectiles compared to the usual 180 grain win mag projectiles. It won’t kill you but you won’t enjoy a long range day with one without a brake.
