Safety so flush you can't accidently engage it...i just rested my thumb in thumb forward grip on it and was no issue...actually gave me more downward leverage for recoil ...like you do with a 1911 safety...no issue!

Tried one just this morning. The flat faced trigger shoe is a game changer for Smith. What it cannot do though, is be a pocket gun like the 2 that you mention. With that caveat, it does best the other 2 in "as shipped" capacity (even the p365 XL). (Yes, I know you can purchase a 15 round mag for the P365.)

Edit: missed the X part of 43X. Def not a pocket gun and does get owned by the Shield Plus (and I love Glocks.)

I've had one with the safety for a while now. Never been an issue.

You can get one w/o the safety if that's a requirement. Personally, if I thought I'd EVER appendix carry, I'd want the safety.
