Open to offers as I do not know the value of the handguns in their condition. Both are in excellent mechanical condition; have not fired either and don't plan to. The S&W looks and feels great. The Colt has some pitting and surface rust, but seems all original. Again, open to offers.

Absolutely. I don't have paperwork but can authenticate via the family for the last 60+ years with "living" relatives.

S&W 38 gone; new pics of 1911 added. Honestly, seems like lighting makes finish look worse than actual. Now considering trade for 7.62 rifle.
