Item Description: 1982 Marlin 336 JM stamped. Made in 1982. The story I got with the rifle was the guys grandfather bought it September of 1982 put a scope on it, sighted it in, and hunted 3 times with it. He said there has only been about 20 rounds through it. I pulled it apart and cleaned it up. There is very little wear on the inside and the bore is perfect. There is a little bit of surface rust on the receiver. The barrel has a spot where it looked to have some rust that someone tried to clean up and removed some of the bluing. Wood is in great shape and is crack free. All in all its in fine shape for 35 years old. I am fairly open on trades. I prefer handguns. I can trade up or down with cash on either end.
