Item Relisted! FT Rossi 357mag for trade

O
Not crapping on the new ones but this one was built a little better back then...i think this one is an 80's model, or so i was told
Yea,
Pops had a 76 ramcharger, 78 d150 and we both have been through our share of Dakotas. The sticks on the rack... kinda partial to the top 58 model squished in plastic stock and bottom just picked up recent.
The center two.. top one I got back in 2011 and lower have pieced together. Receiver, barrel, bolt, firing pin, cover all match, but trigger assembly and stock are new. I’m taking it for a run tomorrow.
I like tinkering with them even though the heritage. They’re just simple, reliable and efficient machines.

I want to let one go and was thinking of selling. The old Rossi would fill a void though!

These older Rossi are nice shooters.

Indeed, I had a Rossi (model 971? I forget) that was like a S&W 686 with a 2.5" full underlug barrel AND an integral factory compensator, bringing the total length of the barrel to 3 inches.
It had as light and smooth a DA trigger pull as any unmodified S&W,
and the SA pull was excellent also (although that is not so remarkable, even among cheap imported guns).
It was an Interarms import, from the early 1990's, and was quite inexpensive back then.

Yep.....A S&W knock offView attachment 3083967 Inexpensive you say, as were the cheap surplus SKS rifles that now everyone has a gold plated one.....lol....i bought am ol Mosin a few years ago for 99 bucks, now look at them...lol
Agreed
It hurts seeing them for sale in the 700-1200 range.
“Should’ve ordered 10 out of the mail order section in my SOF magazine by in 1990”
Last store bought I paid 250(10 years ago) and recently as high as 500 which is reasonable considering..I guess.
