Polished and smooth action. Reduced to about 6.5lbs. No spring adjustment. Very light mark at very end of barrel where I hit with a file accidentally.

Why a DAO (DOUBLE Action only) "hammerless"?

There is always 1 in the chamber.
No thinking about a safety.
No hammer to snag easy to pull from holster, purse glove compartment.
Very very low chance of accidental discharge.
The weight of this pistol holds down recoil and anticipated recoil reaction.
Rubber grips make it even softer.
(About size of SW J frame.
The frame allows a variety of a standard 38 special. It will accept plus p ammo!
It feels like a pistol should.

So why am I getting rid of it?
I have carried a Smith 642 (Black frame lightweight hammerless) for years. With it being my daily the finish was getting really scuffed up and I thought I could "save" the smith by carrying this similar size pistol.
After laying them side by side it was too late to save the smiths finish, and I am not the guy who has to have duplicate duty pistols.

So here it is. Very accurate for a snubby, smoth action. The light turn mark is not from shooting I cycled it a lot to get it to the feel of my 642.

Perfect for folks getting use to a carry pistol it will fit in your pocket with a sticky holster as well.

Trades? Maybe a mosin with ammo, an SKS or something I can really use.
