I've got here a Universal M1 Carbine that I picked up from a uncle that didn't know a thing about it. The low serial number indicates this baby is constructed of alot of USGI parts.
These were assembled in Hialeah FL back in the 80s and many were great shooters. I cleaned up this one and sent 100 rounds through it.
The finish on this rifle is odd, but the barrel is in rough shape with some surface rust and some in the bore. Pretty sure it sat in his shed. Doesn't effect function though.
