I expect to have to keep renewing this ad for a while, but here it goes.
I'll trade my S&W 637 alloy-framed, stainless-steel barrel and cylinder, .38 spl +P rated snubby revolver. 1.8" barrel, carried a lot and with a poor finish, but not used very much, purchased new by me in 2013....a "Wyatt Deep Cover" special production gun from the S&W Performance center, DAO action, bobbed hammer, trigger job....w/ box and papers ...
..... for a shooter-grade / carry-grade alloy-frame .38 special J-frame .38 revolver with a 3" barrel. Must have a ROUND BUTT so that I can use Crimson Trace lasergrips for it.
I'll take them off this 637 of mine and put the factory S&W grips with "hip grip" type prong back on the gun.
I'm willing to pay extra cash or throw in some range ammo, but I'm not paying not a lot extra, and I don't want a collector's item. I want a gun I can carry daily and WILL get some dings on the finish, and will get sweated on during the summers.
Could be blued finish or nickel. Not interested in an all-steel gun like the model 36. It's got to be a lighter weight model-- AirWeight or AirLite. Aluminum alloy or scandium or titanium alloy. I don't care if the one I get next is +P rated. This one certainly is, though.
Pics to come later, from my mobile phone (I'm on the office PC now).
