You're prolly right. Already waffling. Have a Baer Concept VIII incoming, so I will see how the 2 compare and do the mental gymnastics rationalizing keeping both.

Keeping my eyes on this one. If I can scoop together the funds in time, I'm game. Already have a Specialist in 9mm and 45 Auto, and working on bringing home a Bruin at the moment. Sold off a Commander Classic a few years back that I regretted immediately. A Guardian is on my short list of must-acquire DWs. I have a problem

The Baer is an excellent 1911. I have an Ed Brown also.

Neither one is the additional $1k better though.

My ideal setup would've been a 9mm Specialist 4.25" stainless, a 45 Valor 5" duty finish, and a 10mm Bruin all-black duty finish (the two-tone doesn't put wind in my sail). I'm good to go with the setup I've landed on though. The TCPs are very nice too. That would be a tough one to part with.

Oh the Kodiaks are downright sexy I much prefer the multi-color palate of the Kodiak to the black/bronze variant of the Bruin.
