Remington was licensed by John Browning to make a version of his Auto-5 shotgun, which they did in the Model 11. However, it is not widely known that Remington also made the Browning A5, will all Browning logo from 1940 to 1946. FN fled Belgium with the Nazi occupation during WW2 and transferred production to the US and to the Remington factory who were already set up to make the near identical Model 11. At first looking the Remington made, Browning marked A5 are nearly indistinguishable, except by serial number. The Remington made guns will all have a letter "A", "B" or "C" prefix before the serial number. These letters designate "16 ga", "12 ga" and "20 ga" respectively. Most of the parts between an FN made A5 and a Remington A5 will interchange but be warned that some will not.

The correct pictures were added in a post about a month or so ago, but when it was relisted, the seller did not update those pictures in the original ad :(
