OP, I'm not in your coverage area but I have a question. I want to convert my double door from a typical ceiling mounted chain drive motor to a wall mounted motor. Any idea the cost and any opinions?

Ill PM you!My coil spring snapped a while back and I thought to myself, well, I've never replaced one of those - that'll be fun. It wasn't! Hire a professional!
The wall mounted openers are pretty neat but they are generally a little more expensive compared to a rail operator/ceiling installed. General cost if you can complete the installation your self is roughly $400-500. I would recommend the Chamberlain brand over the Genie brand mainly die to customer service and reliability. Chamberlain corp actually owns the LiftMaster brand, craftsmen and sears brand.OP, I'm not in your coverage area but I have a question. yes and no, depends on manufacture door and date if insulation kits can be acquired, also i have seen some DIY methods that may work for a home owner but nothing i would feel comfortable charging for due to aesthetics and liability. Can you install insulation in non insulated doors. 16x7 and 8x7?
