It's been about a month now since I put down the antipsychotics. After 13 years of use.

I gotta say my thinking is clear and my vigilance is back to where it was when I was in my 20s. No side effects of putting them away and weaning myself off. I'm doing really well fellers. I am no longer zombified.

I feel dang good.
Good deal brother. Glad it hasn’t been too hard for you.

I have to ask.....how/why were you on them to begin with....that is, if you can do without them today??
glad for you....the less crap(drugs) we put in our body, the better!!
2012 I was not getting ANY sleep and the VA started me on PTSD meds that CAUSED schizophrenia. I started hearing a feeling all kinds of strange shyt from the meds. Spent a month and a half self admitted to the VA psychiatric hospital in Murfreesboro (I think that's how you spell it) Tennessee. The VA took me off the drugs that caused the schizophrenia and started me on aripiprazole. I gained 125 pounds in a year on that stuff. Been stuck at 325 for a very long time now. The Aripiprazole fixed what was caused by the bad drug rispiradol and I was OK on it. I think I'm way past the ill side affects of that medication so I thought it was time to wean myself off the antipsychotics. Which brings us to now.
