It's time for feedback 3 inch 1911s

What experiences do you guys have w/3 or 3.5 inch 1911's. I've been considering some different models.

If you're in the I don't go less than 5" crowd, that's fine and all, but save it for someone else.

Reliability? pre series II or series II?

Both were series II. Never had a FTF or FTE. Several hundred rounds of various ammo. I only used Wilson combat mags.

When I had a raptor ultra 2, never had one problem with it. easy to conceal and very accurate

I miss my Officers model bad.I love the short barrel 1911"s.

Get a checkered front strap.
Easier IWB.
You do lose velocity.

Love the gun, never a hiccup with it no matter what I have put through it.
