I've got $525, what type of handgun should I get?

I have an LCR .357 and love it, now I want an LCRx just because I kind lof like the idea of a hammer.
I like my .357 LCR a lot. I might have recommended that first as a carry gun, but I got the feeling he was relatively inexperienced. That gun with hot loads is stout! The 101 will handle any load and tame most of the recoil.

If you are looking for a small revolver check out a S&W 60, 642, or 442.

I have found that I like the 4" revolvers a lot here lately.

Check some gun shops or pawn shops, I found a S&W 64 for $300 out the door and a 686 for $500 out the door.

I posted in the cz thread , but if you're a cz guy and don't have a p07, get one. I like the sig 2022 as well. Both are fantastic values. Paid 450+ tax for my p07, and iirc georgia gun store had theirs at 430 last time I was there.

I found myslef not knowing what I wanted recently, and decided to go with a "nonwalmart caliber" as I call them. And got a used glock 22c(for $350, what a used glock should be) and ordered a trigger and .357sig barrel. A new caliber was more fun than a new gun IMHO. And I'm not a glock guy at all. I just wish CZ would make a 10mm(that didn't blow the hell up)

Anything that starts with the first two letters as CZ.

This^^^ can't go wrong, I've been wanting a 97b here lately, just don't have the funds yet. P-09 or P-07 will do just about anything you'd need it to and more, and you'll have money left over for ammo too!

I also have a glock 22c that I plan of keepin just for the ability to swap calibers easily, and .40 is a blast out of the ported barrel! It's a fun little gun

The 22c is so loud. I went camping the night I got it, long story short, don't shoot it without your proper PPE haha
