ive gotta put my dog down

Had to have my mother in-laws put down last year. Two injections, first puts them into a twilight state the second stops the heart. One or two breaths after the second injection. No suffering, really quick....then the emotional.....well you know. Hate you have to go through this. I have a 17 year old poodle that is just about blind, also very hard of hearing & on meds. to keep her from peeing in the house. I'm thinkin' not long after the first of the year she'll have to go the same way. We become so attached & God blesses as with an animal that loves us for who we are.

Put the one in my avatar down in Oct of 2013. Worst feeling I've experienced, and I've lost friends, family, all that. If you're anything like me, it's impossible to get completely passed. Don't want to either. She was a huge part of my life for my entire childhood, so why would i want to? Good luck man, sorry to not be more comforting, but it's a rough thing.

So your family would prefer the dog suffer until after the holidays? Doesn't make sense. I know it's not your decision...

its not my entire family, its really one person. and i dont think he wants it to suffer, he is just unreasonable beyond words.
