This is the best thing I've found to help or at least as much as anything is going to.

Swallow a small amount of cream of tartar everyday, it’ll go away twice as fast. Wet a finger tip and dip it in the stuff, the put it in your mouth. This is note a joke, it works.

I guess I developed an immunity to it eventually as a kid. As I no longer got it. Then I got it again as an adult when I bought a fixer up home. But after a nasty batch of it, I no longer got it again.

Same. My dad hasn't either. Used to pick it and rub it all over himself just to prove a point

I have a brother who seems to get it if he comes within 100 feet of a poison ivy plant; even in the winter.
