Yeah I always love his story about beating a young Tiger Woods after he stayed out all night drinking. Said he was still drunk from the night before during the round they played. That's my kinda guy, don't GAF and just does his thing while all these other guys are working out and staying healthy, he's drinking, smoking, cussing. 
I have followed him around the course a couple of times (Tour Championship). Walk up to the ball, reach for a club from the caddy, flip a cigarette away and hack at the ball with no warm up swing. Put the ball on the green within inches………
Met him at a roadhouse/truck stop on the side of the interstate in Texas and drank beer and hit drivers with him into the desert before he climbed aboard the bus.
Stuff like this reminds me of a great comparison:

I remember seeing Daly many years ago at TPC at Sugarloaf. His tee shot at #10 which was about a 550 yard hole was so long he had to wait for his playing partner’s to make their second shot to catch up. He and his caddy walked to where his ball was , he threw his bag down in the rough sat down leaning against it ,’fired up a smoke and waited on them.
