These things are everywhere here. Does anyone know of a spray that will kill the things? My wife says sprays don’t work on spiders. Already thought about fire but don’t wanna burn down my woods.

I use this. Doused they drop dead.

I had some that I couldn't reach. I shot them with wasp spray. Just a little bit. Took out the big ones and the little ones that wanted to mate with them. Any bug spray will get them though.
There are some soybean oil based products at Home Depot that are insta kills. You just have to get close enough to use it.

We’ve been using Raid ant/roach spray. It says on the can “household spiders” as well and it seems to work pretty well. The bigger ones take a couple doses but the small ones it knocks em out with good results. They are everywhere though it’s ridiculous

According to UGA, you won't totally get rid of them.

The part in the article referring to out-competing the orb spiders seems to be pretty accurate. I haven’t seen those in quite some time. Not sure what’s happened to them other than just being run off by these guys
