It asks you for confirmation of the amount that you are depositing. You agreed to the amount. You could have said no and it would have spit that $ right back out at you to try again.

The official last day of Slavery in the United States.
When the Union sent a detachment to tell Texas the war was over and the slaves had been emancipated.
Probably a good reason to have a holiday.

Got me a 4 day weekend out of it.
