A little while ago (about 6:15), I had just finished dinner and the dogs started barking. I look out and what do I see on the dam sunning itself? Yep. 114 yards, 33 grain Vmax out of the .22 mag and it didn't even flinch! Ni-night. Literally 5 minutes later 3 deer walked out between me and it. They look at me and I SWEAR they all said "thanks" and nodded their heads.

Poor? Not so much. Him and his running buddies have been living pretty fat. Helpless? Oh, definitely not. Dog? I suppose technically you could call it that. I prefer to call them "non-native, invasive, fawn eating, hell-spawn, marauders!" But 'dog' works too I guess.

Thanks... to be honest, I wasn't exactly expecting the DRT.... but I mean not a single twitch. I should have trekked back there to see where I hit it (aimed for high shoulder) but it's a bit of a mess getting back there. I suspect it'll be there tomorrow if I'm feeling a little more ambitious.
