When it get's below 60

Parts of Texas do suck. And it can get colder than some people seem to think. But overall a great state.
Ft. Hood can get cold as hell!!

I remember goin out to my truck and there was, no shii...1/4 inch of ice on it....couldn't even open the F'in door.
PT was cancelled that mornin...LOL

FTFY.
Again, tell your friends!
That’s going to be difficult. Most all my friends have spent time in Texas. I’ve seen much of the state but I am out of date on a lot of those places. Don’t see myself ever making if back to Laredo, for instance. With all the Californians moving in, you should be recruiting people from other states.

East Tn could be a good bet. I live about 20-25 mins east from downtown Knoxville. My neighborhood has hay fields and cow pastures in it. See deer, turkey and bear often. It is a nice and conservative area where we’re at. No state tax, and if you’re 100% DAV - no property tax either.

There is always something to do here. ALWAYS. Whether you are on the trail hiking/biking, on the lake or river in a boat etc. Knoxville is an awesome tiny city and always has something going on. Every night of the week. More food and entertainment venues than you can shake a stick at. Every ethnic/foreign food you can think of. Concert venues and sports galore.

Give it a thought. If you do come this way, holler at me and we can grab a bite.

On that same note we are between Knoxville and Sevierville/gburg/pforge. Other than work, I never venture east to those 3 places I mentioned. We go west into Knoxville often. My church is Knoxville, my moose lodge, my favorite restaurants, tobacco shop etc etc.
