Do as jetmech said and confront her about it. Tell her what you've observed and why it looks suspicious. Watch her body language as she answers. If she can't look you in the eye and is always looking up and to the left, something's going on. I read a while back that people look up and to the left when they're making something up because it means that the creative side of their brain has taken over - trying to make up a lie.
