I just put the finishing touches on this bed, and will be officially putting it up for sale in mid-July. It's American Black Walnut, with a live edge slab headboard and 4 trundle drawers underneath. The slab headboard makes it. Black walnut is reallllly expensive and hard to find in big unsplit slabs like that. Great finish. I’d like to talk to you more about your interest here. I dabble in rustic wood and metal finishes and this is awesome to look at!!

When the kids were young I used to use mine to find toys in the dark. There’s nothing like kicking a tonka truck trying to empty a bulging bladder in the dark.

Lego land mines are the worst.

Or a hot wheel where you ride it like a cartoon banana peel.

Thanks for all the pats on the back. For those who asked, it is a queen size. I will be putting it up at $3500, the Saatva mattress can be available also for additional $. I don't remember where I got the slab, it was hanging around my shop for at least 5 years before using it on this bed.
