I think I'm going to go the same route as you soon as my can gets back. I'm wanting an SBR in 300 blk as well cause after all the only reason I see to have a suppressor is to shoot quietly. 300 blk seems to be the best choice for that. Good luck man.

Another thing to think about, I'm no expert but from what research I did it appears you will want a 1/7 or 1/8 twist rate on your short barrel to help stabilize those heavy bullets in the short barrel and prevent key holing. I'm sure somebody will be along here shortly to correct me if I'm wrong but that seems to be the route I want to go from what I've read.

True story I was working with a guy when I was land surveying and we were doing a tree survey and the guy ask me "How do you spell oak, ah never mind I'll just put tree." Real good with math but couldn't spell what so ever.

I'll bet money the guy I'm talking about is dead or near 80 now. He quit school in maybe 5th-6th grade to work on the farm.
