Horrible situation. A lawyer is the way to go. He will be able to get you escorted to the residence to gather things you need and get back on track. I understand your frustration, but you need to stay strong 💪

Get proof of the dementia from the Dr you been seeing before that gets changed thrn find a lawyer. Have faith that it will all fall back into place sooner than later.

Or throw your hands up and get far far away and travel doing small odd jobs to get enough money. Let your heart and faith guide you. Please Dont listen to the devil and take that route and make life worse for your self

Make an appointment with the local Sheriff's Office on location. That's all that is needed. You won't be able to get but what they will let you have

Just saying... and talking to everyone who reads this, not just you...

If you have a gun "collection" you should also have $15K-$20K cash stashed someplace out of reach of anyone but yourself. Safe deposit box, locker at the bus stop, a friend's safe, buried under a rock along a stone wall in the country... it doesn't matter. If you aren't able to muster up a cash stash like that over the years of "collecting" your firearm collection, then you are not doing something right.

Not judging... please don't take it that way. Just saying this to everyone.
