Just ordered a new sword. Anyone have any experience with this one?

Wow! Looks like it lives up to the way true Medieval swords were meant to be made/used. The best tests to me weren't the cutting power, but the flexibility tests (ie, the pull-up and the bend test). Giggity, I think I want one now!!!

Will probably be a wall hanger. But it is nice to know it will perform if I ever actually needed it. ;)

I ordered a nice belt to go with it.

I have a few Cold Steel Katanas...better than a baseball bat!!!

I was going to get a katana but I really dig the history of the hand and a half sword. If I could have got real usable one just like the ones used in Kingdom of Heaven that would have been my first choice, sadly the reproductions aren't usable, but this one will do. ;)

I usually crack jokes on the people that collect the Renn Faire/Comic Book Store display swords, but after seeing the videos of the Cold Steel swords, it actually seems like something worth having around.

Sweet! Being a military history enthusiast and having a high interest in sword and shield combat, I just completely geeked out over this :D

I am selling most of my fire arms. Since I can't adequately warn a man at range with a rifle. Nothing says warning like 33 1/2 inches of razor sharp steel.

6. Thou shalt not kill: thou shalt slay no man in malice; neither thy child, nor thy wife, nor thy bondman, nor thy bondwoman, nor thy servant: nor the child of thy servant: neither shalt thou slay thine enemy, except thou admonish him, and entreat him, and he hear thee not, and God give him into thy hand: thou shalt only slay him in lawful war: and if any man trespass against thee, and break through, and do violence, thou shalt not slay him in revenge. If thou overtake him in the trespass, thou mayest resist unto blood; but except thou slay him in the trespass, thou shalt deliver him to the Judge; he shall judge him, and the hand of the officer shall be on him.
