I usually crack jokes on the people that collect the Renn Faire/Comic Book Store display swords, but after seeing the videos of the Cold Steel swords, it actually seems like something worth having around.
they are no hanwei, but trust me they will do the job

I have been researching these things for a while now and for the money this seems like the way to go and it is usable if needed. It will make a nice wall hanger regardless. ;)

I am selling most of my fire arms. Since I can't adequately warn a man at range with a rifle. Nothing says warning like 33 1/2 inches of razor sharp steel.

6. Thou shalt not kill: thou shalt slay no man in malice; neither thy child, nor thy wife, nor thy bondman, nor thy bondwoman, nor thy servant: nor the child of thy servant: neither shalt thou slay thine enemy, except thou admonish him, and entreat him, and he hear thee not, and God give him into thy hand: thou shalt only slay him in lawful war: and if any man trespass against thee, and break through, and do violence, thou shalt not slay him in revenge. If thou overtake him in the trespass, thou mayest resist unto blood; but except thou slay him in the trespass, thou shalt deliver him to the Judge; he shall judge him, and the hand of the officer shall be on him. You really have me curious on this one. Are you saying that even in a justified(in our eyes) shooting in defense of self, family, or other innocent person the only way to make it okay in God's eyes is to warn him/her/them first?

I say the old "warning shot" may come into play here.

This might help in explaining and after reading it especially this line I may cancel the order of the sword."The Lord hates the one who "loves violence" (Psalm 11:5)." I don't want to be seen as loving violence in the eyes of GOD.
