Nice job. Brought the beauty out of her for sure. The guy you bought it from certainly would have asked a lot more for it if it looked like that.
It didnt cost me a penny . My Granddad gave it to me.

IView attachment 1234801 View attachment 1234802 View attachment 1234803 View attachment 1234805 View attachment 1234806 View attachment 1234807 Just got this beauty, don't know much about it..Tried to do some research on the serial number on the google, but seems as if i got deeper into confusion lol..
1st 3 of serial are BEV
I got bored one day and took it all apart to clean it up and polished it a little bit to bring out the shine some more. I think it turned out ok since 1) I've never taken apart a revolver and 2) never polished anything...Its by no means a perfect polish job, it was done by hand with mothers mag polish. My poor fingers lol but I think it Looks good and shoots like a charm!
I Just wanted to share it.
If any one can hook me up with a mfg date id be happy to give you the serial number.
thanks in advance

If You Need Smith and Wesson information contact @JWC, he's the man with revolvers. By the way nice gun.
Made from 1972 - 2004. BEV means probably made in 1989 or 1990, but I cannot find BEV in the Smith & Wesson Standard Catalog 4th edition. Value based on condition: ANIB $625; Exc $475; VG $325
