Kauffman Tire

As soon as anyone in a private business ask you to take the gun out you have to comply that is in the GA CC regulations. That is all the notice they need, really the signs actually means nothing but if they tell you that you have to leave then it is my understanding you have to leave. I'm not a fan of any business that is not gun friendly but I only CC so I have never had a problem. Every time I have shopped for tires I have found that Kaufman tire was much higher then other tire companies.

A pistol in the glove box is a bit like a condom on the glove box. Neither will do you much good if they are not in the right place when the action starts...

I used to OC once in a while but figured it was to my benefit to CC and keep the element of surprise in my corner. I can always find a way to CC no matter what I wear even though I carry outside my waistband. Shirt tail out or light jacket works every time. I have decided that confrontations are not in my best interest.....I have nothing to prove. I carry for my protection not to intimidate or impress.

I agree with you 100%, I carry cc everywhere and ignore signs, no one knows I carry because I know how to conceal but there always be those who have to show that they have the "power". Things like this will only lead to more public outcry against carry of weapons, not the other way around. Eventually it will spill over and our CC rights will be the victim of attempted legislation because the few need to show how macho and manly they are.

What assists in a "public outcry" is when an antigunner gets up in arms over someone OCing and then the gun snobs agree by saying if only he would have CC'ed and OC is for assholes and stuff like that. When you say that stuff you are agreeing with the antigunners in some way, plain and simple. Id much rather not agree with anything they believe and carry in a way that suits me best at the time regardless of if its cc or oc. rant over.

Watch cc will eventually be affected by those who open carry in places like bed bath beyond etc. I hate it but OC 'ing in places that are obviously anti-gun will keep the carry issue on the radar and we will lose it.

Yeah and they are about to open a retail store in Lovejoy. Wonder how that no firearms policy is gonna work out for them. I have hated that company for years. Everyone go somewhere else and buy tires. They are a rip off any way.

Hey Cliff, your Dad told me about this yesterday when I went by the shop to get my tire patched. I didn't know you were on the ODT! I told him not to buy from them anymore, he said they were the only ones that had that particular truck tire he needed. If your jeans are too tight , try a shoulder holster with a tactical style vest! Concealed Carry all the way!

What is so amazing about this entire matter is that the manager knew you were a long-term customer and was so arrogant and surly. If I were you I'd be looking for a new wholesaler. And, every time I ordered a new supply of tires I'd fax the order over to Kaufman so the manager could see how much $$$ he was losing.

I'd recommend dealing with duprima tire distributors for your wholesale needs in morrow. They're a smaller operation but all great guys, great pricing, local company and gun friendly.
