Ken onion work sharp????

I have one and it is the cats meow. It did a good job using the guide but I took the guide off and it got outstanding. It took a little practice without the guide but not much to get the hang of it. It can get knives so sharp you can literally shave your face with them. And it will do it in a fraction of the time too. Oh, using the scissor guide it with do a fantastic job on scissors to.

I'd be afraid I'd take too much steel off.....just don't trust sharpeners like this or myself using them.

The only reason I haven't bought one. Also, the worry of rounding off the point.

If your worried about taking to much off just use one of the finer grit belts. It would be almost impossible to take to much off. That's how I practiced and gained confidence.
