Quick shout-out at the folks at KAI for an excellent job servicing my Leek pocketknife.

Had the knife since 2012 (only way I could remember was that I had ordered it from Amazon and it was in the history). Needed a "free" sharpening and a repair to the lock.

Pretty simple. Fill out a form on their website so you can join the service cue. Ship your knife to them (it was 8 bucks + change). Once received, it was back to me in a couple weeks including transit time. The service is "free" with the exception you have to send them 7 bucks for return postage.

Knife was returned looking like new with a razor edge on the blade. They repaired the lock and even installed a new clip.

Looking forward to using it for the next 13 years...

Same experience with Kershaw. Broke the tip off my Leek, trying to use it as a screwdriver. Sent it in with $7 and they put a brand new blade on it. No questions asked.
