I took the glass breaker off of mine and blew air through it… then wd40 dry lube… it fixed the same problem you’re having.

Shout out to the "pour some alcohol in it" gang. I dribbled a few drops in, covered the hole with my thumb and shook it up a bit and black goo came dribbling out the end. I gave it one hard shake and then deployed it and black spray went all over the shop towel. Works good as new! Little bit a lube and she's back in the pocket.

Yes. Who cares, they're easy to work on and if you can't sharpen a knife you should probably just keep pepper spray in your purse.
