Your county 4H probably has bb and shotgun. If you're not far from Talladega, CMP is an excellent resource for air rifle.
Not sure the age range of you kids are but mine started shooting uspsa steel challenge with a 22 at 11. It is great but a real shooting match you can start with a kid. There is no foot movement on most stages. It is easiest to start with a 10/22. Look up steel challenge on YouTube. The stages are standardized.
As others have said, 4-H is your best bet. I am intimately familiar with the program as I spent all my school years in 4-H and still volunteer with them. Your county extension office is the place to contact. They may have age restrictions depending on each program, but should be open to Grade 5 and up. Friends and family have all shot with their S.A.F.E. Shooting Sports teams on BB and Shotgun and have excelled.

Send an e-mail or call Angie or Sylvia with the Georgia SCTP program. They can assist with finding a shotgun team in your area. Contact info is on the page linked below. Team registration is generally in February. There are local and regional matches throughout the season with the state event in June and national event in July.

The terms we hear most often are "Youth Clay Target Program" or " Youth Shotgun Sports Program"I'm not sure I want to shoot kids seems like a horrible idea. Poor kids.
