Kimchee45 was successfully tased into a normal rhythm and is home now.

He's weak and trying to regain his strength and sounds a lot better. He did say he thinks it will be a few days before he feels well enough to hop on the computer and log on the ODT.

Hey kimchee45 you are back on ODT so soon, great to see you back mate but take it easy, don’t over do it, you need time to heal, so rest and do what your doctors tell you.

I am much weaker than I was a few months ago, and will try to check in from time to time.
Brief history ...
I had a bout of atrial fibrilation (cardiac-beat irregularity) in the 1980s, but IT TOLD ME THEN !
I could feel it in my chest, and they used "Amiodarone" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amiodarone
as part of the fda requirement study to get it approved for use in USA.
Never had a problem again until a few weeks ? months ? ago, as there were NO symptoms this time.
I just kept getting weaker, lost appetite, confused, difficulty standing up ...

I finally was able to realize I was IN DANGER !
The EMT in the ambulance told me the problem while saying "He had never seen such fibrilation !"

With no symptoms I could detect, I do not know how long it had been going on !

After many "IVs", injections, tests etc., I got a blood thinner by injections, to reduce the chance of blood clots, then they put me OUT !
They kept squirting the foulest thing I ever tasted in to my mouth to numb my esophagus, tested for feeling and gave me some more, then I had to gargle it, and then I WAS OUT, as they were also giving me anesthesia.

Several hours later, I woke up feeling MUCH better. They had run an instrument down my throat to check for "CLOTS", as one could break loose and >>> "Stroke Time" !
Finding no problems I got the shock tazing, and felt nothing.

I am still very weak, and have an appetite now, so things are looking UP !

I will try to check in from time to time, but it won't be much for a while.

I know how stubborn us old guys can be (I are one), tell him to follow his nurses orders.
They have a funny way of dealing with "unruly" patients...
