Sorry about the crappy pictures this isn't really my forte. My dad took me fishing in Soldatna Ak for 2 weeks last july and it was the most fun I have ever had out of bed. We stayed in this groovy cabin in a fish camp about 3 miles from the Kenai river. Get up go catch our limit, got to camp and fillet them package and freeze them, go back to the river and do it again. Putting a fresh sockeye on the grill 15 min. after it was swimming in the river is sublime.
We also went deep sea fishing for halibut one day out of Seward. THAT was EPIC. I have done A LOT of fishing in the gulf and the atlantic over the years. Nothing compares to fishing in Ak. I probably sound like a commercial for Alaska but, it was the most awesome place I have ever been. I am not being paid by Ak to say this.
