After being away for the weekend, we had to do something with some of the tomatoes and jalapeños from last week’s pick. Green tomatoes got first batter and vacuum sealed for ready to go fried green tomatoes. Jalapeños got sliced, cleaned, filled with cream cheese, shredded cheese and browned sausage and cooked Wrapped in bacon. Then into the vacuum bags and freezer. Cherry tomatoes got roasted in the oven and sealed for the freezer for steak nights. Will mix garlic and onions to sauté as a side.
