Does it have seams? What gets me is the NCO designation, and the number of similar examples. Granted it is considered militia, but I think it would still have been an issued item. Possibly bone?

Certainly seem like it would be a cadet or tyler sword. No markings whatsoever. Thank you for all the knowledgeable replies.
