Some are worth a great fortune but I'm sure he knows that. My division SVP (in Chicago) was a world renowned koi "surgeon." Sort of a hobby for him. He'd be flown to Japan on the regular to consult on sick koi that could cost as much as $1-2 million USD. Maybe his fish could be his retirement fund.

I have 2 large ponds full of them..My understanding is that they must be Quarantined for 2 weeks when moving from pond to an occupied pond making the value ****. I have some blue herring eating mine way to slow at the moment.
