I pulled an older rifle out the other day and my EoTech 512 wouldn't come on. Checked the usual suspects, connection points and the battery box. Never was stored with batteries in there and was nice and clean. Just would not come on. I have had this 512 since 2010 and build date was Mar 2010. Emailed them and they sent me the form letter to check the battery connections, did that and emailed back. They sent me an RMA and asked for a $70 bench charge to take a look. Sent it in on the 10th they had it the 13th and I got it in UPS today. Now there was a tiny bit of delam on one of the corners, I didn't mention this in the RMA. They got the optic working and put a new set of lenses in it. It looks brand new. Just thought it was nice they took care of a 15 year old product. I can't think of anything else with batteries that works after 15 years. The bonus was the new lenses.

Dan L in their service was top notch. They could have told me to pound sand on a old HWS.

Have a great weekend!

The 512 doesn't have a lifetime warranty.

Here is Eotech's warranty straight from their website

That's awesome. Mad respect that this only cost $70 to fix an optic that is (I'm assuming) worth at least $1,000.
