I don't know if they make one for the glock, but for my staccato, dawson precision makes a low mount for the optic that keeps the dot at sight height and does not change the presentation angle of the gun. Really makes a difference in my shooting by not having to relearn the "pointing" of the weapon. Hope this helps.
Check out the Holosun SCS MOS. That solved all my issues with "hunting the dot". I've got one on my G26 mos and really like it. Yeah, it's imported from china, but it's titanium framed and doesn't require batteries. I love how low it sits. That’s a big issue for me. Just trying to find the dot can be a challenge.
The vortex defender st was pretty decent. Comes with a glock Mos adapter plate in box so also a plus. That Vortex looks interesting.

Tried to use Trijicon RMR, and was always too slow picking up the dot because the angle felt super weird to me. If we weren't so far away, I'd be happy to meet you at the range and let you test drive the holosun scs.
I'm waiting for these to be available, to install on my G47 mos......

I want to be able to practice - a lot. I can't afford to feed that thing enough to get better!
I have 1000's of rounds of 9mm ammo and the only 10mm I have is made by Craftsman.
Truthfully, shooting live ammo won't help you find the dot more easily. And being accurate with a dot isn't usually the main learning curve.
Dry fire reps will be the key to consistently and reliably having the dot in the window. Presenting at a designated target (light switches are my go-to) over and over and over until the dot's there every time. Then doing transitions without "tracking the dot" between the two.
Occluding the front of the glass will also help train both eyes open target focused.
Being used to front sight focus with irons makes it a mental adjustment but it is a game changer for sure.
