Many years ago, when Tybee was a summer-only resort, us year-round resident kids lived for Labor Day, when we got our island playground back.
Sundown you could have fired a shotgun down 16th street and not hit a dam thing.
GTG 'til the next Memorial day.

I can buy a lot of pork for what it costs to take the wife out to eat at the steak house. I have done 35# of pulled pork or 9 baby back racks on my RecTec, so it just gives me an excuse to chill for the day and cruise ODT.

Went up to Calhoun to pick up two pistols I won on Gunbroker. Had to take a whiz on the way home and stopped at Buccee’s. Forgot it was Labor Day weekend. It was a madhouse.
