Lake Acworth

Acworth lake in the 70s was fine fishing. You could camp, too. Proctor Creek was a fine crappy and catfish creek flowing in. It was 5-8 feet deep. Then came the golf course and geese. Water was nasty and you didnt want to eat anything in it. Proctor Creek silted so bad that my canoe wouldn`t go in it. Wasn`t deep enough. I haven`t fished it in 20 years, but caught some crappy last time I did.

I've gone twice now. Unimpressed with the water quality and have doubts about eating anything out of it.
