May have an opportunity to head out that way to fish for a few hours in the AM one day next week. Never fished it before so not at all familiar with it, any tips on baits or colors for bass?
The primary food at oconee is shad anything that looks like it.i would fish sea walls early and late points after sun comes up move back and fish deeper.
Use dark baits, worms, black. Be careful trying to lip the hybrids. You will get stuck with your treble hook. But the fight is great. Really nothing to it on Oconee/Sinclair
They (GA power) pump water at night, makes a lot of good flow and good night fishing. First time I ever caught a catfish with a crankbait was on Sinclair and I reel in pretty fast.
Green pumpkin or watermelon are always good on the O. Small Shad crankbaits. Fish have continued to be shallow but are working their way out of the coves to the main Lake points. A carolina rig is always good there
