Last minute but does anyone have a Honda MC spanner?

Looking for a Honda part# 89201-MR8-000 spanner for adjusting the rear shock on my bike. Called 3 different shops local to me and none had the tool. Thought I'd try and see if anyone on the southside had one I could borrow for 5 minutes. Making a road trip tomorrow...

Can you work it with a pair of channel locks?? Easier if you are reducing pre-load, rather than jacking up the spring.

I'm jacking up/maxing it out. It's easy to mutilate the castilllations on the shock so I'd rather use a spanner.

I've seen it done with a rubber strap wrench in a pinch. Usually in stock at Home Depot for $10 or so and would get you by and be easier on the shock than channel locks.

If the bike has a center stand, its easier when you take weight off the rear wheel.
