Lawyer needed.

My daughter went thru this with her second husband wanting to adopt my two grandsons. Their piece of **** sperm donor father was never in their lives and didn’t contest. Why would he?? He got outta paying any type of child support and was released of back unpaid amounts. They have a real “dad” now.
Good luck. It was super easy for them.
 
Thank you guys! Yeah, this one should be pretty easy. He hasn’t even paid child support and seven years. Just don’t wanna spend three grand for a lawyer when we just need somebody to double check a few pieces of paper
 
Congrats and best of luck!

It is not a cheap process generally $2k+ and not to be a Debbie downer keep in mind if things don’t work out with you and your wife you will be responsible for child support. I’m not trying to be negative but just something to consider as it is a big step

Yeah I know. He’s turning 16 this November and I want to do it for his birthday or Christmas
