Leaky gas valve? I've turned off at the meter and still smell gas.

I don't even know where to begin with this.

Ultimately my main concern right now is the gas. Had no problems yesterday at all. Maybe I bumped it or something? It turned to closed but I still smell gas.

Thing is I turned off at the gas meter a while ago and haven't seen any of the dials increase but I am still smelling gas.

If you are at a loss for ideas, call a good plumber or the gas company !! Dont let it keep leaking if you smell it.
Of course, open the windows and doors….air the place out. Could it be residual odors ?

Spray all the connections with soapy water and look for bubbles, that'll tell you what joint is leaking.

I did that can't see any obvious place. Went under the house to check and no issue or smell.

I'm sure it's the valve.

I thought it could be residual but God damn how much could be in there? I've got everything airing out and the smell is only local to the closet and room the closet is in.

Thing is there was no issue yesterday at all.
