Stopping an asshat from endangering the public is the same whether it involves alcohol or speeding.

So using the left lane as a passing lane like it is intended is being as asshat? While intentionally breaking the law by cruising in the left lane in order to prevent someone from doing a legal activity (passing in the left lane) is being the responsible, law abiding, citizen, right?

Have you called or written to your state representative or senator to push them to change the law about what the left lane is for? If you need the help, I can point you in the right direction to contact them. Or is it just easier to get online and call someone an asshat for doing a legal activity?

I haven't said anything about speeding. "Slower Traffic Keep Right" is not dependent upon anyone speeding.

The GA Code you are looking for though is O.C.G.A. § 40-6-184. It isn't as much about what the traffic engineers intended as it is about what the legislators intended. That's why I asked if you have contacted you representative or senator about changing the law. I didn't ask if you've contacted your local traffic engineer.

I miss cracking open (and sipping) a cold one while cruising at 12 mph during rush hour.
After work, used to stop at Goree’s in Doraville, gas up, and grab a couple beers for the ride home to Lawrenceville. Good times.

Are you also a person who drives below the speed limit on a two lane road, and speeds up once there is a passing lane? So no one else can pass you?
An awful lot of people like that drive on old Hwy 27 between Newnan and Whitesburg.
