The KALTHOFF Repeater rifle.

State of the art for the middle 1600's era.

It's more of a type of firearm rather than a specific design produced by only one gun maker. Wikipedia has a good write-up on it and somewhere there's a video animation showing how working the lever lets another lead ball roll from the magazine tube into the chamber, and when you close the lever you're putting a measured dose of gunpowder behind it!

That's Gwinn's Bushmaster Arm Pistol. It's quite an interesting pistol manufactured from '77 to '88. Chambered in 5.56x45, I'm curious what the recoil would be like. That's just cool.

And if you look at the old version Bushmaster's company logo
( for the first two decades or so they were in business), a silhouette of this arm pistol was part of their logo,
right underneath the snake.
